TCNJ Fulbright Scholars and Boren Award Winners

Congratulations to three recent TCNJ graduates, Matthew Knoth ’14, Krishna Parekh ’14, and Shea De Brito ’14. - TCNJ’s new Fulbright Scholars.  Knoth will serve as a US Teaching Assistant in Austria, Parekh won a research award to Finland, while De Brito will be an English Teaching Assistant in Brazil.  Two current students also received prestigious scholarships for overseas study next year.  Both Michael Schiumo ’16 and Martín Crosby-Arreaza will study abroad with assistance from the Boren Scholarship program.  Schiumo will spend next academic year in Moscow studying Russian, while Crosby-Arreaza will devote next academic year to the study of Persian in Tajikistan.  Both students will study under the auspices of American Councils, and Crosby-Arreaza will also spend time at TCNJ’s exchange partner in Tajikistan, the Technological University in Dushanbe.  Best wishes to all of these students!
