No Pre-Requisites, Language Requirements, or GPA Restrictions – Open to all students (including current first-year students)
Sustainable Engineering is a collaboration between TCNJ and GlobaLinks Learning Abroad. Students will apply for this program by completing both a TCNJ study abroad application for faculty-led programs and the online form at GLA.
The program will include many site visits to locations with sustainable engineering practices and to several of Australia’s leading universities that study sustainability and engineering, as well as a number of cultural activities. Site visits, cultural tours, and excursions are projected to be: Sydney walking tour, Sydney Tower, Olympic Park technical insights tour, Powerhouse Museum, Murray One hydroelectric power station, desalination and wastewater treatment plants, Steelworks, Green Building Council, Blue mountains excursion, Canberra Sustainable House, Lamington National Park, Great Barrier Reef boat trip and excursions, and visits to several of Australia’s leading universities for lectures and tours.

Program Cost for in-state and out-of-state students = $5,600
Program Cost Includes: include tuition, domestic travel within Australia, accommodation, health insurance, some meals, excursions, and an official transcript from The College of New Jersey.
Program Cost Does Not Include: International airfare, some meals, course reading materials, and personal expenses and excursions.
Payment Schedule: Students will pay GlobaLinks Learning Abroad directly for this program after submitting a $150 application fee to TCNJ.
