Would you like to study abroad in England during the summer, live in a castle, and join us as we bring literature to life? This is an opportunity for students of all majors to live in England and study some of the country’s most fascinating literature. This year the course will be held at the beautiful Harlaxton “Castle” in the Midlands, where courses have been held for the past eight years.

- Emily Bronte, Wuthering Heights
- Marion Zimmer Bradley, The Mists of Avalon
Two Weekends are FREE for independent travel throughout England, Scotland, Ireland, Paris—wherever you like!
Excursions:
- Visits to King Arthur’s Castle ruins, St. Nectan’s Glen, Holy Minster Wood,
and Merlin’s Cave - Reflection in Glastonbury’s Holy Chalice Well
- A seaside walk in Skegness and picnic in Rigsby Woods
- A walk on the moors and visit to the Bronte parsonage in Haworth
- A proper “High Tea” at Allerton Manor
- Wine and Cheese Reception at “The Castle”
- Day trip to medieval Gainsborough Hall, Lincoln Castle and Lincoln Cathedral
- A Formal Banquet in Ridgway Great Hall (in “The Castle”)
- A special 4th of July celebration at “The Castle”
Program Cost:
- $150 Non-Refundable Application Fee
- $800 Non-Refundable Commitment Payment (payable after acceptance in the program)
- Accommodation at Harlaxton Manor and all Bed and Breakfast’s
- Three meals per day (except for lunches and dinners in Cornwall)
